TEHRAN, Nov. 14 (MNA) -- A number of paintings by Maryam Khazaei are currently on display in an exhibition at the Day Gallery.

 

She has held 40 solo and group exhibitions in Iran and foreign countries, including Belgium, Japan, the United States, Finland, Canada, and Sweden.

 

Khazaei has also created collage and installation art works. Her installation work based on French writer Antoine Marie Roger de Saint-Exupéry’s “The Little Prince” received accolades at an exhibition several years ago.

 

The Day Gallery is also playing host to an exhibition of paintings of Leili Derakhshani.

 

Both exhibitions close on November 17.

 

The gallery is located at No. 1060 Vali-e Asr Ave., opposite Sa’ei Park. 

 

 

* The works of painters Vahid Sheikhian, Mohammad-Ali Allahverdipur, Mandana Manuchehri, Mahtab Sadeqian, and Gelareh Jamshidi are to be displayed in an exhibition at the Kamalolmolk Gallery from November 18 to 29.

 

The gallery is located on Third Golestan St., Pasdaran Ave.

 

 

* The works of cartoonist Bahman Rezaii have been hung at the Aria Gallery.

 

The exhibition will continue until November 21 at the venue, which is located at No. 11 Zarrin Alley, Vali-e Asr Ave., after Beheshti St.

 

* An exhibition of works of cartoonist Davud Shahidi and a number of felt makers is to open at the Seyhoun Gallery on November 19.

 

The exhibition entitled “Namadator” (Feltoon) runs until November 23 at the gallery, which is located at No. 30 Fourth Alley, Vozara St.
